Thousands of lawsuits have been filed against Actos’ manufacturer alleging that patients who use the type 2 diabetes medication have an increased risk of developing bladder cancer. Takeda and Eli Lilly have faced an estimated 10,000 Actos lawsuits filed by patients and family members of those who were harmed by Actos. Lawsuits have been filed for bladder cancer, bone fracture, kidney disease and other injuries.
