This application report presents an introduction to the CAN fundamentals, operating principles, and the implementation of a basic CAN bus with TI's CAN transceivers and DSPs. The AUTOSAR CAN Network Management is a hardware independent protocol that can only be used on CAN 1 (for limitations refer to section 4.1).
