I’m looking for recommendations for a car cover for a 718 Boxster. It’s not a daily (it’s a weekend car), and though it will be garaged, it will periodically share the space with 3 cats. So, I want to protect the paint and the convertible top. In order to provide future flexibility, and I assume durability (reference the cats above), would I be better off getting an exterior car cover. Lots of places have cheaper cars but few have as good a selection of better quality cars. That plus their communities help filter out the bad actors selling bad cars or cheating otherwise. In the 90s they were still partly hand assembled and the line worker had to run and get the parts. Air-cooled 911s are pretty reliable and the 911 is the most race successful car in motorsports history.
