I was ordering groceries for delivery anyway (ran out of time today) and I received a $10 promo code, free delivery (7.95), and a premium delivery slot (6pm instead of 8pm). It’s not only for Walmart gas stations, or Murphy, it’s for any Walmart associated gas station (I believe there’s a list on the app?). My local gas station that’s about 10 miles away from any Walmart is part of the savings. Walmart delivery is almost entirely done by a 3rd party driver that works for Spark which is a doordash/Uber type service and they are paid a base pay per delivery+ tips. If you aren't allowed to leave a tip then the store you are ordering from actually utilizes in store delivery drivers that use a Walmart vehicle and are paid an hourly wage. Back when Walmart wasn't perpetually sold out of ammo, I was never carded buying ammo at any NH Walmart. The register would flash up 18+ or 21+? and just as quickly the cashier would clear it. Walmart has 3 stocking shifts. The exact times will vary by store. Stocking 1 works 4-1, 5-2, or 6-3. Stocking 2 works 1-10, 2-11, or 3-midnight ON Stocking works 10-7 unless they’re on a 4 on 3 off rotation. Stocking 2 unloads the trucks and begins stocking. ON Stocking does most of if not all the rest of the stocking. Stocking 1 will finish up and then do topstock, features, etc. The main.
