Most times my free Amazon returns have the options of both the UPS Store drop-off and my local locker (both free) but occasionally those options do not appear. 4 of the 5 items I am returning gave the option for UPS Store drop-off but the 5th did not. Now im trying to return it but I need a ups shipping label and the default return method is not giving me a ups label. I don’t wanna pay $400 to schedule a ups pickup. I can’t drop it off at ups either bcoz I don’t have a ups shipping label. How do I get Amazon to give me a ups shipping label. The seller will not give me one. All UPS stores are access points. The problem is shipping directly to one. Those packages aren’t part of the access point system, and it’s up to the store wether to accept them or not. Some stores do and some don’t, the ones that do sometimes charge a fee when you pick it up. Talk to the store you are planning to send it to to find out. To ship to a UPS Store: Call the store to ensure they allow shipments via UPS to be sent there for pickup by non-mailbox holders. Not all stores allow it. If they do, they probably charge a small handling fee ($5-$10 sometimes more). They only accept UPS shipments if you don’t have a mailbox as long as they allow non-mailbox holder package. I want a private package shipped and delivered directly to a ups store, it is clothing I want to buy online. I went and talked to a guy at my local ups store and he said that I can have it delivered to their store directly, they will hold it, and I can pick it up for a $5 fee. UPS tried once and left a notice. I would most like not to be around on the next day as well when they deliver so I thought why not let them put it in the store and I can pick it up after work. While doing that on the website, they want to charge 7.99 for each leaving in the store. This doesn't make any sense to me and sounds totally stupid to me. It's better to rent from an independent mail store where you can receive mail from all carriers - UPS, FedEx, USPS and DHL. The UPS Store became servitude to Amazon, and their cheap, none sencical shoppers insane demands, not to mention of dropests with opened boxes. Instead of “The UPS Store,” your name appears first.
