Weather widget asking for location access, but location access is already on. Just updated to iOS 17.1.1 on my SE. Now my weather widgets are all reading “Location access is needed to show weather near you.” However, when I click the widgets, they open the weather app to the weather in my current location. The current outside temperature on the Apple weather app on my iPhone 12 at my location is 68 degrees while the Weather Channel temperature is 59, a significant difference. The temperature gauge in my car (Subaru Forester 2019) reads within a degree of The Weather Channel, so I believe The Weather Channel temperature is more accurate. Problems with TWC radar map The Weather Channel Premium has stopped showing weather on the map and will not save my choice of radar time span. I cannot see rain, snow, etc. on map. Map is completely white, with only 2-3 city names showing. EITHER WAY A MAJOR STORM WITH NRN. Weather disappeared from Apple Watch Face This is in response to another OP and my own struggle. I noticed a couple days ago the temperature was no longer appearing on my Apple Watch face. I tried everything - settings, adding “weather channel” back to watch face, etc. That was only giving me the percentage of rain for the day. Also there is a huge discrepancy between the Apple default and weather channel default app. From my experience, Apple appears to be more accurate for Sierra snowfall.
