Homelessness/ Shelters - Offers Emergency Assistance to residents who are experiencing a crisis. Provides food, clothing and financial assistance for rent and utilities. We currently serve three meals a day, five days a week, and breakfast and dinner on weekends, to the homeless and less fortunate in High Point. First preference is given to the High Point resident followed by the Guilford County resident. Clients go an entrance screening before being accepted to the facility. They must be 18 years of age and cannot be a sex offender. The Men's Shelter program at Open Door Ministries is a facility designed to house adult homeless men 18 years of age and older.
