PROVERA tablets are indicated for the treatment of secondary amenorrhea and abnormal uterine bleeding due to hormonal imbalance in the absence of organic pathology, such as fibroids or uterine cancer. Used for the management and treatment of endometriosism, menopausal vasomotor symptoms, primary &, secondary amenorrhea, dysfunctional (anovulatory) uterine bleeding. May be taken with or without food. Each tablet contains 10 mg of medroxyprogesterone acetate. Interaction with aminoglutethimide. Provera is a form of progesterone (a hormone) that is used to treat conditions such as absent or irregular menstrual periods, or abnormal uterine bleeding.
