I'm interested in implementing something like Kahoot or Socrative in my gen ed class. However, I'm not going to assume that everyone has a phone, and I won't leave people who don't to sit there feeling bad and missing learning opportunities. For those who have done this, what do you do when someone has no phone? I know that you can just substitute flash cards, but that's a lot fussier and more. Thank you. Kahoot = Lifesaver (Quiz creator website) + call for other recommendations Ahoy there fellow pirates on the creaking old ship of Online Teaching, I've recently been given a heap of kids classes to teach, and have found Kahoot.com to be absolutely brilliant for introducing some healthy competition into the lessons. Has anyone used this before? Kahoot! Love doing Kahoot quizzes for my classes, students seem to really like the competitive aspect of it. It lets me gauge the class's understanding of the concepts, and just increases engagement in class. The problem is, I can't find the time to make a quiz for every single class.
