When moving from AOL to Talk Talk, as its really the same company, what actually changes? If your AOL messages vanished from Saved on My PC, the most common cause is that the local Personal Filing Cabinet (PFC) became detached or partially corrupted after a crash, update, or antivirus scan. The mail usually still exists on disk as one large data file. Before doing anything that writes to that folder (restore, compact, upgrade, or opening the file in place), make a safety copy first. The best thing to do is to get yourself a Goggle mail/or similar account which is independent of your ISP. If you get it sorted out ahead of changing ISPs you will have time to let people know your new address. AOL give free email addresses as well even if Broadband provider is elsewhere. To stop going to the webbased email account you can make one that will work with outlook and thunderbird for free. it acctulally works. Login using a browser its probably another box to tick to say you have read the new terms and conditions. I use thunderbird and it suddenly stopped getting my old AOL emails, used a browser and I was prompted to verify my identity and add a recovery option. Slight problem is that they have all the wrong details even though it was a staff account. I am running Vista, using Firefox as my browser and Avast for security at the moment (freebie version), and over the last couple of days, I have been able to sign in to my AOL account, but not read any E mail. A private/incognito window, AOL's basic mail interface (as @darsh999 suggested), or the alternate login endpoint noted earlier (as referenced by @TheDude ) can help determine whether the cookie is reissued by the server or by page-side redirects. If SEOKEY reappears immediately, the site (or a redirect) is setting it. If AOL Mail works with add-ons disabled, an extension is the culprit. Open about:addons and use a binary search: disable half the extensions, test; repeat to narrow it down quickly. If there are only a few, disable all and re-enable one at a time.
